We had a great relaxing time at Zenzen Gardens late afternoon today despite the wind derailing our trip to the pool which caused an early closure. Karrah Aegerter, Summit and I enjoyed the stories provided by Cindie regarding wines by Alfred Eames Cellars, the life long friendship of Alfred Eames and his best friend plus what influenced the labels on the bottles while we relaxed and enjoyed the view. Absolutely THE best wine tasting in the Paonia/North Fork area, with some of THE best wines, @AlfredEamesCellars of course. Instead of propping yourself up at a counter or bar while you taste, you sit on a shaded, misted veranda while each wine is brought to you and explained at a leisurely pace and you soak in views of Mt Lamborn and Mt Landsend. Owner Cindie Sorensen is the consummate host, offering intelligent explanations. Charcuterie baskets are available. A great place to wile away several hours. It’s heaven.

Lovely experience, wine and wine education was all good. Yard was beautiful, shade, outside games and plenty of seating. Recommended!

Zenzen is amazing!! Ms. Cindy was so hospitable and knowledgeable about the wines. We absolutely loved the property and had the best time!!
