I get regular myotherapy with Pookie at Zen Wellness center. Her knowledge and expertise helps relieve pain and reduce inflammation in my body so I can continue to put effort into my passion in the sport of CrossFit.
I had the Indian head massage and wow—who knew just having your scalp rubbed could feel that good? It totally melted my stress and the comb on my scalp felt amazing. The only downside? I walked out looking like I’d dipped my head in a deep fryer—so maybe dont do what did and come in with freshly cleaned hair 🤣 Still 10/10, would get greasy for that kind of relaxation again!
Zen Wellness Centre, ive been going here for years! Pookie is my go to, she is magic! A beautiful relaxing experience everytime! Ive tried a few different things, a big game changer for me was moxa treatment. Having never tried or heard of it, Pookie suggested i give it a go and ill be forever grateful for her help. Watching Zen Wellness change from one room to what magical place it is now has been amazing. Its a place that makes you feel better even with out any treatments, 100% positive vibes here! E
Pookie is amazing. 12 months of physio, remedial, x-rays, chiro, CT & MRI scans, neurologist….all for chronic lower back pain. My neurologist suggested acupuncture. I had my first visit with Pookie today. Just after one visit, I can now sneeze and cough, without feeling like I am going to severely damage my spinal cords etc and no debilitating pain. I can’t wait for my future visits. Baby steps, but today felt like a giant human step, being able to cough and sneeze without crippling pain 🙌 Pookie, you are absolutely MAGIC... read more
