Went to my local Zehrs today to get some items not available in Food Basics. Haven't been to this store since the Loblaw boycott began. It seems the store is being updated and certainly looks very bright and inviting and I'm sure will be very cosy when renovations are complete. Sadly, I won't get to see the new & improved store as I won't be visiting. Prices are not competitive and despite the "everyone welcome" decal greeting at the front entrance it's evident by the pricing, -working class are not included in the welcome. ... read more
