Store getting a makeover, looks good! Lots of sales items to be had. Friendly, helpful staff.
Bought fresh Ontario local corn on the cob last week while the store was still being renovated. When we husked the corn, all 4 were damaged inside as though they had been dropped several times or crushed somehow. The flavour was also disgusting. This corn seemed more suited to livestock feed rather than human consumption. We have not been impressed with the vegetables lately at this location. Will definitely reconsider shopping here in the future. The Niagara Falls Zehrs is far superior.
Friendly staff. Variety of produce was lacking. Slim picking for fruits and leafy greens. prices are relatively high. Quality is usually quite good though. I'll come back and update this review if that's resolved by the next time i go, as it was my first visit and they seemed to be miving things around for renovation of some kind. If you start carrying persimmon I'd give 5 stars, haha. I can never find them anywhere. 😊
