They are very expensive to use for tax preparation, and it's not worth it. For example, I was told that I needed a special form for my HSA contributions through work, and that I had to start calling the company that manages the HSA so that I can get the form before tax day. The company that managed my HSA told me that they don't have those until May (or some time well after April 15). I asked how I'm going to file my taxes, and they told me that I don't need it. Not at all. File your own taxes before you use this accountant. I worked with Tim Smith. From not paperwork to excessive charges for EVERYTHING! This guy might as well be working for the IRS. JS
We just had our taxes done here based on a good recommendation from a friend. We're now hoping Tim Smith can be our accountant for life. He helped us sort out our joint filing, our recent move, and our new LLC. Thanks to Tim, tax season wasn't stressful at all. We're in good hands, and know that we'd feel comfortable recommending them to anyone else.
If you are look to save money on your taxes avoid this place. Tim was very unprofessional in his email to me as well. Its easy to give a place a good review when you have nothing to compare it to. I have a awesome cpa now and I'm getting back $3000! When I had Tim do my taxes he had me paying $700 in taxes because of poor tax estimations and missed deductions.... i hate leaving these types of reviews but I hope I can help save a person from paying out when it's not needed. :-(
