Absolutely disgusting. The only thing I can think may have happened, was that somebody dropped these patties into old deep fryer oil, and walked away for 30 minutes. The patty was burnt black and would break apart like a potato chip if you tried to eat it. Also had several missing items. Shame on this place. Wouldn’t feed it to my dog.
I was a little skeptical that we needed to travel this far for a po boy sold at the deli counter of a neighborhood grocery, but we gave it a shot and am so glad we did. Outstanding sandwich, the friendliest staff, and a great little grocery to boot. If you’re staying downtown, take the St. Charles streetcar over and you won’t regret a lovely ride for a phenomenal po boy.
Luv it. Packed to the top in a very small shop, every inch is used. Very helpful employees. Great hot line and to go options.
A staple for great poboys and friendly faces. Also good pricing on groceries.
