My fiancé went to return some jeans that didn’t fit him and they made a big deal about a little bit of hair on the jeans that they could very easily remove themselves. ‘Signs of wear’ after one day. So he left the jeans at the store on the counter and walked away. As a customer service representative myself, you are trained to give the customer what they want and not cause a reputation of being unable to accept returns etc. No excuses for that level of laziness. You want to sell a product, do your best at it!
I'm an online Zara shopper for a very good reason. Every time I shop in-store, the experience is painfully slow. Staff are often standing around chatting while customers wait 10–15 minutes just to get through the checkout for no apparent reason. The store could really benefit from stronger floor management and better attention to customer service. **Total scam and a waste of time!** I bought an item clearly marked with a red tag showing -30% off, but was charged full price at checkout. The cashier didn't bother to mention it until I checked my receipt and questioned the total. When I asked why the discount wasn't applied, she told me, *"This is mistakenly tagged."* When I asked if the store takes responsibility for their own pricing errors, she snapped back and claimed someone else must have put the tag there, not them.
