My partner and I shop at Zara regularly—at least twice a month. It’s one of our go-to stores for seasonal workwear, and we very rarely return anything. Really disappointing experience at Zara. About 15 minutes before closing, the fitting rooms were already closed without any notice to customers. The escalators were also turned off while we were still trying to exit from the top floor, and the upstairs doors were locked, forcing us to go back down the escalator and leave through the ground floor exit. The quality. The quality is now completely non existing. I understand we can all say it’s fast fashion, “cheap” products. But where exactly is it cheap to spend $50 on a scarf? I bought scarves from Zara back in 2014 that I still use to this day (their basic scarf that they still sell now), I wash them regularly and they still don’t fall apart and remain thick. I had a rather interesting conversation with an employee at this store. When I asked for his name, he refused to provide it. Instead, he kindly "educated" me that, in Canada, a person's name is "private property." Only after my third request did he finally provide his employee number: 32717 Zara, if you're reading this: I would still appreciate knowing whom to contact to file a formal complaint
