I’ve never seen a store like this filled to the brim with useful junk. I mean that in the best possible sense.
Love this place! It is a treasure trove of all sorts of cool old stuff! Please note it is not open on Sundays, though! Despite what Google says!
The owners never showed up to open on a Sunday. There was no sign posted and we waited in the hot sun with other people for an hour until we gave up and left.
I had an appointment around the corner but I was early so I decided to check out Zaborski’s Emporium. Long story short, you really have to go yourself to get a good sense of the place. If you do want to shop, I think one of two strategies will work: either know exactly what you’re looking for and there is a very good chance they have it and the friendly folks in the front will know where to find it - or just wander around and you’ll be sure to find things you never knew you had to have.
