I really appreciated the help it was immediate housing for me and my children while going through a crisis. All though I did not agree or like some of the rules. For the most part I think it was amazing. I learned alot about how strong me and my children are. Not only dealing with our situation but having to be understanding to the staff and other people staying there. With any place there will be issues but overall if your goal is to get your kids or yourself in a safe environment this is exactly that.
Not the best place to use if you are in need of help fast. They don't return calls at all and kind of leave you hanging. Started working with them in May and still no progress, no updates, absolutely nothing. Very disappointed especially since the only reason i stayed in the area was because they guaranteed help back in May and here we are August and still nothing.
I came to this place seeking help when I was experiencing abuse from a family member they would not help me .
This place did not help me i came here because i was told i could get help and the workers said because i didnt have any visible bruises they couldnt offer me shelter i was with my two little babies ages one and two running from a abusive man who was threatening to hit my children .i explained all of this to them . I didnt know anyone in the state and they sent me a taxi to a graveyard with a empty church beside it . DONT GO THERE FOR HELP LADIES THEY DO NOT CARE . Specifically the SECOND shift .
