This place most certainly does not help abused women. At all. They do not help with housing..counseling. Nothing. All they do is give out write-ups. And kick people out. Why go to a domestic vehicle shelter..if the people that run it abuse you even more?

I turned to this place for help in a domestic abuse situation and as soon as I walked in I was talked downtown treated as if I was a criminal then exited after 1 week stating my I had a drug in my system (I ask to see the test I was ignored) maybe I could have handled it better. They were supposed to help victims not drug attacks so why am I having to have a person watch me pee in a cup I didn't commit a crime im looking for safety and resources to make,better choices so my life isnt choosing abusive people in my space so wh... read more
