We found ‘Your True Self’ in the early weeks of the pandemic. My son had been receiving OT for a sensory integration disorder at school and when school went online, it seemed it was not possible to get him services. I saw a YTS flyer. Posted on the fence of a local park, and I called. Shane and Mike arrived for the initial assessment visit, everyone masked, and there was an immediate click. My twin sons have been participating in OT with YourTrueSelf OT for over four years. Thanks to their kind and supportive therapists, the boys have been able to develop new athletic skills, such as rollerblading, and find a greater sense of peace and calm in nature. Their therapists have also helped with haircuts, dental visits, blood draws, a return to school after the pandemic, and every other challenging life situation.
