I called to try and get some information and the person I spoke with on the phone was very rude immediately, in addition to not being particularly helpful or knowledgeable. I'd go elsewhere if you need a lawyer.

My experience with Lydia Young as legal counsel was deeply disappointing. During a highly challenging child custody case, I expected sound legal guidance and strong advocacy. Instead, I was repeatedly met with dismissive remarks, such as being told, "This new judge is difficult," rather than receiving meaningful legal strategy based on the facts of my case. She was hired to help with child support issues. We were charged over $100 to do a 15 minute consultation. We waited forever for her to get started on the case. We ended up taking matters into our own hands and did it ourselves. We called her to let her know we no longer needed her services. She then charged $250 because that day coincidentally she finally reviewed the papers we set 2 weeks ago and made one phone call...after we sorted it all out ourselves. $350 for nothing.
