My mom spent the last four months of her life at Young Home for the Elderly, and she was truly happy there. The staff didn’t just care for her — they treated her like family. She was surrounded by love, warmth, and a community that made her feel at home. Knowing she passed in a place where she was genuinely cared for brings me so much comfort. I will always be grateful to everyone there for giving her joy, dignity, and peace in her final days.

For the owners its all about the money please think twice before you take your loved one there if they need more than just basic help.

Highly recommend. This place is small. 20 rooms that are in an old house that has been added on to. My mom was there for about 3 months before she passed. I found the staff to be above and beyond. They actually talk to, comfort, and hug the residents. They actually care! My mom was treated very well even when being difficult. All meals are prepared on site. Our family was so pleased with the care, thoughtfulness, and amenities Young Home for the Elderly provided to our loved one for several years. Jessica (manager) and her entire staff were wonderful. Jessica was a pleasure to work with and get to know: very personable, followed thru with concerns, and was accommodating when able. She listens, and she's passionate about Young's purpose and environment. Highly recommend!
