Camp was terrific. The staff were warm and welcoming. The coursework was challenging and delicious. My son really enjoyed himself and enhanced his cooking skills in one week. He plans to return for classes in the future. Highly recommend!!
My 10 year old had a wonderful learning experience during one of the weekly summer camps, and she is begging me to go back! I love that the instructors have the kids perform the kitchen skills themselves and challenge them to think critically. The variety of the foods that the kids prepared was diverse and helped them expand their pallets. The kitchen itself is very safe! They made real food all by themselves and got to bring home the recipes to make for the family
My three grandchildren (ages 9, 9 and 7) went to their first class at the Yardley Young Chefs Academy. When they were finished the class they told me that it was “awesome!” They let me sample the handmade pizza with vegetables and the zucchini brownies. Both were absolutely delicious. The kids talked about how much they enjoyed the class and how they would love to do another class. The teachers were extremely warm and welcoming to all the children. My 12 year old grandson,loved his experience with “Chefs Academy” in the workshops he attended this summer. I think the professional kitchen and aprons give the kids a sense of feeling very professional.Teachers there really have a gift for well managing young teenagers.A + experience!
