Very sloppy and disorganized firm. I gave them a 6-month trial and regretted it. I found myself chasing them constantly just to get vague answers to simple questions. They failed to deliver on specific promises, including missing a critical Safe Harbor tax calculation for my business. You also get passed around to too many different people rather than having a dedicated advisor. Avoid.
Friendly and approachable, but a very unfortunate and costly experience. I was fined by the IRS for an egregious oversight on Engage’s part- they failed to detect a tax liability, which then accrued penalties and interest over time. Engage ultimately refused to compensate us despite the negligent nature of their error; forcing us to now work with a tax malpractice attorney. DO NOT USE this accounting firm
