My parents just moved in this past November. I recently asked how they were enjoying YALR. Their response: "Best thing we ever did." 🥰
My Aunt moved in several months ago and it required ALOT of moving parts to be coordinated. The Director Melissa was absolutely amazing in helping to facilitate all of this. In the time since moving in my Aunt has transitioned very well thanks to the excellent staff at Yorktown. The aides, nurses, and other staff have made her feel welcome and have provided great care. I am extremely happy we chose Yorktown.
After a few years in Assisted Living in upstate NY, my cousin’s dementia worsened and we were told that she needed Memory Care, which they did not have at her facility. It's not easy deciding on placing your mother into an assisted living facility. Our mom has been living at YALR for just about one year and we are thrilled with the services and community she now calls home. Her apartment is spacious, bright and always clean. She has the independence of living alone, along with staff who are caring, thorough and friendly and take care of all of mom's needs.
