The route to Woodland never fails to disappoint, always late even first run of the day, 45 or 42 bus. Yolobus has degraded to a lame transit system. Numerous communications with upper management director have not improved anything. The card swipe system rarely works shorting them of funds. Buses are dirty and rough running. One star is too much.
Absolutely worse customer service ever. Dispatch rude and left me on hold. Over 15 minutes. Could not even answer my question if the beeline I ordered 45 minutes in advance would even arrive or what time it would arrive. Already 30 mins late for work. This is not the first time but it is the last time I will ever use this company.
The service seems to be going downhill lately. I've been a rider over 10 years & have seen some positives: bus maintenance has improved with few breakdowns unlike the early years when buses broke down left & right. They also seem to have got rid of the drivers who had attitudes so that is a plus. Now to tick off the negatives: the pick up times for 42A used to be reliable in the mornings but now seem to be arriving later & later to take you downtown just like 42B in the evenings which are rarely on time going home. I’ve ridden the bus all over the country, and in multiple counties in California but yolobus is hands down the worst I’ve ever experienced. The buses are almost always late, including the first run of the day. The buses are usually dirty and the drivers are mostly surly and rude. I grew up in Woodland and rode these buses for almost 30 years, and it just seems to get worse every year.
