I went to visit this YMCA location excited because it was close by us and most of the YMCA’s I’ve seen look very upstanding and trusting. For starters I was told I had to pay out of pocket the first week, when I had just talked to someone two days prior who told me my childcare assistance vouchers would be covering it from day one and that we just needed to sort it out that day. The director is very rude, I tried getting a job with them. She is not compassionate or understanding. She wanted me to come have my son go to the daycare even though I tried my hardest to work with them because I'm a single mother in desperate need of a job. I would not recommend trying.
