We needed a ride home from *** yesterday-we live on ***********************. The driver could clearly see from maps where we lived-but he accepted the assignment. In cab he was a jerk to us and charged us double what the rate was supposed to be. After pulling up to our house and seeing the water damage he had the gall to ask for a tip!!!!

I was charged $34 two times more than what I would have been charged at any other companies(ex. Uber $17). for going to the distance of 3 miles from Tampa international airport. In his car, there was no meter turned on, I did not see any ID identifying who he actually was. Shortly after he dropped me off at my destination, I called the Yellow Cab, however the dispatcher was not helpful at all. I m not even sure if he indeed was a yellow cab driver, I would give negative 1000 times if I could.

1.5 times higher fee for the exact same distance I took earlier. The driver used his phone as a taxi meter and added $5.00 to the already alarmingly inflated rate, then handed me his machine to select a pre-determined tip rate. Never again!!!

3 cabs in a row said they wouldn’t take me to MacDill air force base, ** * *** * **. Not military friendly.

Warning tourists: Yellow Cab, Driver 186, significantly overcharged me on a return trip back to my hotel. The exact same ride one way cost me $18. My return ride, same Yellow Cab company, and the exact same distance, costed me $45. The Driver refused to explain how he arrived at this fare. I contacted the Dispatcher immediately trying to get some satisfaction, however, I was shocked by her lack of concern. I would never use this company again, if I ever come back to Tampa.
