if there was an award for "store that makes you feel the least welcome" it would go to....Yankee Candle in Hamburg! When I went inside the salesgirl stopped what she was doing to just stand there and STARE at me while I shopped. I was the only customer in there so it was definitely me being STARED at everywhere I went. She never once spoke to me so it was extra awkward and uncomfortable. I have been going to this particular Yankee candle since I first moved to the Lexington area eleven years ago, and have done so because of the excellent customer service and selection of products. The store manager, Val, is an absolutely wonderful person who has always gone out of her way to help us in knowing the latest fragrances and sales. Angela, whom was have also had the absolute pleasure of knowing since going here is an amazing person in the way she handles the customer needs. I cannot recommend a better Yankee candl... read more
