When I first went to Dr Lu I had not been to acupuncture since 2019 in Santa Monica where I lived. My knees were in so much pain, I asked my primary care doctor for someone she recommended, and she sent me to Dr Lu. In just a few treatments I had no knee pain again and have avoided knee surgery for many years. We could not live without Dr Yani. She has saved his life. My husband had multiple mini strokes and was urinating 6 times a night. Dr got him down to going maybe once a night. He suffers from 100% and 80% blockage in the back of his neck which is un operable. Dr Yani also treats his dizziness due to the blockage. As far as I’m concerned, Dr Lu is a miracle-worker. My lab work hasn’t been this good in years nor have I felt this good in years. I am unable to take many types of western meds, due to either allergic reactions or an uncomfortable intolerance, both of which have sent me to the ER and hospital. Life style changes worked a bit, but lab results showed I was still in a high risk zone. Run, don't walk, to make an appointment with Dr. Lu. She is absolutely phenomenal, a "doctor's doctor." Having an MD, PhD and acupuncture expertise, Dr. Lu treats her patients holistically, compassionately and with incredible skill. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Wow! I was referred to Dr. Yani Lu by Dr. De La Cuesta. I called to make an appointment and I was told they do not accept Medicare and AARP insurance. I said I understand Medicare and AARP do not cover acupuncture and I asked, three times, how much she charges. My questions went unanswered and I was told to have a good day. The then man hung up.
