I booked five months ago but unfortunately was unable to attend due to a torn back muscle, which meant I couldn’t travel by car. The business gave us a gift voucher for one night and we lost around $1000 for the remaining two nights — rather than simply allowing us to reschedule under compassionate circumstances. The only thing I liked about this place is that we could bring our dog with us. The room wasn’t too bad, breakfast was absolutely nice, and the location was decent as well. The worst part, however, was the massage. It was the most horrible massage I have ever experienced. I don’t think she knew how to massage—she poured about a liter of oil all over my body and even into my hair. In the end, I had to shower twice just to get the oil out of my hair. We stayed in the glamping tent and was very disappointed. Non of the photos advertised on their website match the tent itself. There was a horrible wet rug smell in the tent. Was spose to be a nice quiet getaway for our birthday and right next to us was chainsaws and construction. Very disappointing and very expensive.
We had an amazing honeymoon at this beautiful place. Everything was spectacular from the rooms, to the food, views and surroundings and the staff. We had the Verdelho treetop room with private balcony and spa. Was just such a romantic place to stay. Enjoyed every minute here. And all the local food and drinks were close by to visit during the day. Fresh produve stand just down the road. We will definetly be coming back!! 👌🩷
