I was referred to Marie through a friend. We were fighting all the time and very unhappy. I was baffled about which direction to go. Being referred to Marie and being guided through our separation was a wonderful experience. I had to trust the process and I’m glad I did. We have just completed our separation and we are friends again! Sharing meals and being cordial as we have a child involved. I never thought I was going to be in a position where my marriage would dissolve. I was reluctantly brought into mediation through my ex-wife. I was very angry and upset to have to experience going through a divorce but I have to admit Marie did a fantastic job in hearing both my ex and myself, and worked hard to negotiate a settlement that worked for both of us. I would hope that no one has to go through a divorce, but looking back I am in a much happier place now and I do owe some of that to the hard work from Marie and Ya... read more

Yaletown Mediation really came though in my time of need and brought me one thing that money can’t always buy which is peace of mind. The compassion showed by their mediators especially Marie went a long way for both sides. Marie’s superpower is attention to detail and empathy. John was very knowledgeable as well. This has been one of the most difficult moments in my life yet I feel walking out Yaletown Mediation that I am walking into a new beginning filled with optimism and renewed sense of self.
