和跟yaletown mediation公司的调解员Marie Rivera合作是一个非常坏和糟糕的经历. 2025年某天，她电话联系我说是我的前夫跟她联系说做我们婚姻矛盾的调解员。她起初服务态度还可以，主动打电话给我沟通，很快获得了我的信任。但只是电话沟通，还没有一个邮件真正落实事情的情况下，他先让我们双方先付钱，要付给她大几千加币。我问她为什么这么贵的收费，她说这个费用全包括了所有的费用，不管时间用多少，不管有什么事情再发生她都不会再收我取我额外的费用，当时我还专门打电话再确认了一次。 我们很快付给了她大几千块钱，可是自从她收到了这个费用以后，服务态度立马变差。从那以后她很少给我主动打电话，等了她快两个多月也没有消息，我经常要打电话或发短信催她下一步的进程。 在双方开庭和解的前三天，她才把合同和双方的事宜邮件给我。她在合同上做了手脚，楞是给我加一个翻译的费用，而且这个费用是无限制的收费，我当时以为翻译是免费的，因为以前我们已确认为这些费用已包括所有，我就没有太在意，但是开庭那一天她为了多收我的这个费用，就是不开庭。我当时答应再给她300加币的翻译费（其实我不需要翻译也可以）但是她还是不同意，我们的和解没有进行。都半年过去了，我们交的费用到现... read more

I was referred to Marie through a friend. We were fighting all the time and very unhappy. I was baffled about which direction to go. Being referred to Marie and being guided through our separation was a wonderful experience. I had to trust the process and I’m glad I did. We have just completed our separation and we are friends again! Sharing meals and being cordial as we have a child involved. I never thought I was going to be in a position where my marriage would dissolve. I was reluctantly brought into mediation through my ex-wife. I was very angry and upset to have to experience going through a divorce but I have to admit Marie did a fantastic job in hearing both my ex and myself, and worked hard to negotiate a settlement that worked for both of us. I would hope that no one has to go through a divorce, but looking back I am in a much happier place now and I do owe some of that to the hard work from Marie and Ya... read more

Yaletown Mediation really came though in my time of need and brought me one thing that money can’t always buy which is peace of mind. The compassion showed by their mediators especially Marie went a long way for both sides. Marie’s superpower is attention to detail and empathy. John was very knowledgeable as well.
