Expensive This store has good quality furniture and some that is very high quality and high priced. Prices overall seem higher than other stores in town. Still worth the trip to see some unusual pieces. The store is overcrowded and you must pick your way carefully.
Why travel to the Merchandise Mart? I have purchased a variety of wonderful pieces of furniture here over the years. Yagers stocks high quality furniture and has very helpful personnel. They have some excellent sales during the year. Those of us living in east central Indiana are fortunate to have such a resource available to us. The decorator with whom I worked helped me through the maze of upholstery swatches and wood colors so that the results were perfect for the room.
