I became a fan of Xavier's after attending a local art show. I could not wait to attend his workshop. If you are able I would highly recommend taking it. He actually showed us and then we applied what we were learning. I could not think of any reason not to give him five stars. Thank you Xavier!
I've been a huge fan of Xavier's work for over a decade. I attempt to purchase something every year when he comes to Louisville, KY for the St James Art Show. He is incredibly talented and always forthcoming and gracious. Not only is his art amazing, his willingness to tell the story of how each piece came to be is inspiring.
One of my two favorite artists in Royal Oak at the Arts Beats Eats. he has a flare for taking photos with various ways to light them up
Xavier's Theatrical Light Painting workshop opened my eyes to a non-traditional form of light painting that can produce stunning results. He is very forthcoming about every component he uses to produce his (amazing) images, how it's used, and where to source it. The hands-on practice with a provided scene and live models followed by his critique gave us a very good feel for what it takes to create the light painting images in his style. Very much a great use of my time for a reasonable price. Highly recommended!
I took Xavier's light painting workshop. It was educational, fun and you can get into it without breaking your budget. If you're looking for a way to jump-start your creativity or just want to take a fun class, I would highly recommend.
