It feels like you’re home here! That is indeed what I love about Wyndmere Woods. It feels like a warm and welcoming destination. Being in the senior care industry, I visit a lot of independent and assisted living communities, and I can tell you that that feeling is often imitated but rarely fully captured (especially by the larger, more expensive corporate facilities) as it is here. Steve sells you a dream let's people under the influence toxic hostile work environment worst place I have worked at. Stay away the poor resident treated poorly kitchen area Jay the supervisor as well as Steve the administrator. Wrongful termination and discrimination.
Our mom has been living at Wyndemere Woods since May 2022. The decision, made with her, to sell her home and move to a living community was a difficult one but Steve and his staff made the transition as easy as possible for Mom. We like the that Wyndemere is a small community. Mom was welcomed in and jumped into activities right away - this was particularly enjoyable for her after the isolation of the pandemic. My MIL has been here for just under a year, and we are very pleased with Wyndemere Woods. The building and grounds are always very well attended to, clean and any issues are addressed in a very timely manner. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Knowing someone will check in on her should she miss a meal, or they haven't seen her for a little while gives us great peace of mind. The food is good, they offer rides to appointments, and a variety of activities. I would highly recommend them for your loved one.
