Nothing against this branch in particular, but I have had poor experiences with the home office on more than one occasion. They apparently changed their online banking system recently. One of the new features is that you cannot pay more than the minimum on your loan. That's right. The bank encourages you to make the minimum payment, because you can't make a larger payment, even if you wanted to, they won't let you online. Meh. If you exchange paper money for a roll of quarters they charge u 1.25. I was told to go there by BECU. WSECU sucks.
Opened my account months. Great bank, but horrible service and the person who trains the trainee kept smirking at me and getting in my face after I already told them 4 times I don't want to do anything more than a normal checking he kept pushing for me to get a credit card. The word no doesn't mean keep asking.
Signed up for my first credit card through WSECU by walking into this branch in 2017. Now, in 2026, I discovered that they had been charging my card for an insurance policy every month for the past 9 years without my knowledge. The rep that signed me up lied and said that there were no fees after I specifically asked, and he never made me aware of the insurance policy he enrolled me in or its terms. Paying a loan by debit card on your website is SUPER inconsistent. It keeps showing an error. You need to fix this ASAP. Its very cumbersome.
