Lesson learned on going out of town for taxes. I've had a business for many years and have never had a problem until this (last) year, but this last year was my first year giving a new place in Emporia a try since my girl quit. I'm just finding out that even though our other taxes were paid.. my retail sales tax was never paid for 2022. So I owe this year's retail sales tax and last years. PLUS penalties and interest on last years. 😳 ZERO calls to me from them- for a whole year. Apparently there was not enough information o... read more
