This law firm, and attorney Mark Meyer in particular, were extremely incompetent. My experience was very frustrating from start to finish. Communication was very poor, and important information was never shared proactively. I constantly had to chase him down just to get basic answers. There was little to no explanation of the legal process, and I always felt rushed to accept the lowest settlement possible. Fees that were charged later were never clearly discussed upfront. I dealt directly with Mark Meyer throughout my boyfriend’s small claims case, and the experience was extremely frustrating. Communication was poor, important information was never proactively shared, and I often had to chase him down for basic answers. After the appeal, he attempted to collect additional money that he claimed was interest owed, which I later confirmed with the opposing attorney was not true. Overall, the experience left me feeling that money mattered more than the client.
