If I could give 0 stars, I freakin would. We lived in an apartment that forced us to use WOW service. Let me first say that WOW internet is garbage. It shut off constantly and the download speeds were terrible. The apartment gave us a modem to use but we gave it back to the apartment and did not use it. if we did not give them the modem back to the apartment then we would be charged for it. Terrible home service. I had to tell the rep FOUR times that not only did I have no internet but my neighbor’s internet was ALSO out and he kept trying to get me to restart my modem, my router, my UPS, even though my power here never went out and I KEPT REPEATING that my neighbor’s internet went down at the same time! I then he said that the earliest time a tech could come is in 4 days but would only credit me for ONE day. Absolutely terrible customer service. Please stop going off of a script and listen to your customers!

Update: This is happening all over again!!!! Since a little after 6:pm until about midnight I had no internet connection!!!! Yet I’m billed for services I never received! I’m done!!!! Come August I will have a new internet provider. I’ve had wow since last summer and I have not had a full 24 hours of service yet!!! My internet is constantly down, even at 3 or 4 in the morning! Wish I could give 0 stars. This has to be the worst internet provider. The internet goes out 4–5 times a month, and while I’m usually able to reset the modem and restore service, there are 1–2 times a month when that doesn’t work. In those cases, I have to call and have someone reset it remotely. When I called about the terrible service, they sent out a technician “free of charge.” Later, I was billed $60 even though he said there was nothing wrong with the wiring or the modem.
