Went to an estate sale on Maryknoll in Kettering. Workers were rude! Items are not marked well. Picked up a card table that was next to many others. The workers grabbed it out of my hands saying the tables are not for sale...even though they were leaned up against ones that were for sale. Had about $50 worth of items in my hands...I put everything back and walked out. Jerks!
Chuck Button was so very helpful - he made himself available to come out while I was in Dayton after my sister passed away to look at her possessions, even tho that was a workday for him. He made sure that he did all he could do to help expedite things for me. His communication was outstanding and I was very impressed with how he set up the sale, the posted pictures, his work to clear the house after the sale, and follow up with me as to results. The staff at Worthwhile are always friendly and very helpful. They come around to assist in the rooms if you have questions or need to place something on hold. We have been attending their sales for several years now and the prices are very fair for the quality of items for sale.
I used Worthwhile Estate Sales when I relocated out of state and decided to start fresh. I needed to be rid of everything! They handled the sale, the final disposal and final cleaning exactly as discussed. The final accounting was complete and I got my check in just a few days. I am very happy to recommend them to anyone!
Their prices are always ridiculously high. Then on Saturday when everything is left they mark it 50 percent off. Then they are in the rooms tearing down and you feel like you are in their way. Why not price items garage sale prices and get rid of it. Definitely not "worthwhile" going.
