A lost art! – Worth & Worth just recently restored one of my cherished borselino's for me and it came back looking better than the first time I bought it! They did a remarkable job and restored something that will be in my family for years to come. To say it was "like new" is an understatement. It's better than it ever was! Thanks Worth & Worth!

Great Experience! – I happened to milling around mid-town Manhattan one day and thought that I would like to go shopping for a new lid. I am an avid hat collector and living in Boston there isnt much to come by as far as a good hat is concerned. I have a few old lids that are collecting dust in my closet and wasnt sure if I could ever use them again. I thought, why not buy a new one. A friend of mine told me to go to Worth & Worth in New York and I thought they were out of business! As it turns out I was delighted at what I ... read more

Excellent service! – When I brought in the top hat my father was married in, it was beat up and falling apart. I didn't think it could be restored to its former beauty. To my surprise and delight, the staff at Worth & Worth restored it to almost new! I started to cry when I took it out of the box. It was like having a piece of my dad back. I will be eternally grateful to Worth and Worth for doing such a wonderful job. And I would recommend them highly to anyone.

They ruined my new hat – I brought in a new leather hat to have a chinstrap and hatband put on. During a long discussion with Brandon, one of their minions, he explained how my current hatband was only glued on and would eventually detach, and that they would sew a new hatband on. After several weeks they called and said the hat was ready. When I saw it I couldn't believe my eyes. The new hatband was glued on. Except in a few places where it was tacked on, it was fully detached from the hat with a large visible gap all aroun... read more

what a selection – While in midtown having lunch with my visiting relatives I asked them what they wanted to do next . My uncle said he wanted to buy himself a new hat so I googled hatshop in midtown and up came Worth & Worth. It sits perched up on the 6th floor on 57th street. At first I found it odd that a store would not be on the ground floor. But when we came up the elevator we were greeted by a cheerful lovely lady and by a rainbow color of hats.Immediately the lady measured my uncles head and asked a few question of t... read more

Don't be fooled by this Business. – I highly recommend you do not order or send an item to this merchant for repairs. I dropped off a fine umbrella which I purchased in England during my honeymoon. Unfortunately it broke so I dropped it off at worth and worth for repairs. I had previously purchased 2 hats and assorted items from this establishment. Well, after around 6-8 weeks, I called on numerous occasions to see if it was available. I even stopped by several times to pick it up. Each time I was told, "its not ready", "cal... read more

Great Hats – I just came from a lovely hat store in midtown Worth & Worth. The staff was very informed and knew immediately my headsize .Orlando pick two straw hats which he thought would suit me best. The first was a coco colored straw with a pastel green band and a 2 1/4 " brim it fit perfect! The next was on of the fine Montecristi Panamas a Havana style. I did not care for the band on the hat so Orlando suggested they could change it , and within a matter of 20minutes i had a new band and i was headed out the door with 2 ... read more

Awful services. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! – I purchased a hat I February to be delivered. They charged American express right away. They know how to do that but aside from that they can' t do much. It took four moths to get the hat as apposed to the four week promised. I finally had to call every single day and ask more questions. No one returned call and I pretty much got a different excuse each time I called. I have never been lied to as much by a retailer. Being given the run-around by this place is an understatement. It was th... read more
