Haven’t been to a World Market in a few years. I used to love how it did feel “authentic” in a way to all of the different cultures. I used to be able to find some really cool trinkets. Now it giving Pier 1 Import vibes. Still a nice place to get some different foods from around the world, but A LOT of the trinkets look like you could get them at Hobby Lobby or some other super Americanized store. It’s kinda lost it spark for me.

Spent an hour getting lost in one my favorite stores! I found a fabulous bouclé swivel chair 50% off and asked the associate, Melanie if I’d be able to buy the floor model for less because there was a small mark on it. She very politely explained that floor models could not be sold but would be happy to check the stock for a new one without a mark (I couldn’t complain with a deal already at 50% off!). They did have several in the back and Melanie took the time to go get the SKU and double check they were definitely there. Sh... read more
