After my injury my employer wouldn’t take me back. WSIB agreed to retrain me but they put me in a retraining program that I couldn’t succeed in. I was cut off of my benefits when I failed in the upgrading courses. WORKAID took on my claim and proved that I was not able to be retrained due to the level of my disability and because I wasn’t qualified educationally to be in the program they forced on me. WORKAID had my benefits restored retroactively. I would have lost my home if I didn’t hire them.
