not welcoming Insider is the right word to apply to Roadrunner, they may be nice to people they consider insiders, other expert runner, IN people by their own definition. But anyone who is just learning, be warned: they'll be cool and snobby and superier as if you should be looked down on. Not a very welcoming place.
Great Store The running shoe store is located in Cary Town, and it has knowledgeable employees who can help you buy the appropriate shoe for your feet. When I went, I was asked to remove my shoes and walk/run so that the employee could examine how my foot strikes the ground, and with that information, he presented several different shoes for me to try. If you want shoes for running, this is the place to go.
