Got done down by scammy practice. Waited ages for a self-checkout because they were too ‘ understaffed’ to have a person check me out at just 6 pm. Put all the groceries through. Tapping yes, no , yes no. Thought I was tapping ‘yes’ to ‘I want a receipt’. But apparently I was tapping ‘ yes’ to donating money to some unknown charity. Don’t get me wrong….i love charities and donate monthly ..but resent being scammed out of money by a supermarket checkout! In Woolworths today and not only did a bloke have a dog in the shopping trolley, that other people put their food in, the lady at the self checkout nursed & patted it while he scanned his items. Absolutely disgusting 😡
