Submitted a formal complaint to the store manager for review and follow up contact. Lodged 6 business days ago. Was told the store manager will contact me within 2-3 business days. Was able to purchase a 1 litre bottle of spring water for 0.80c.
I simply came in and said I wanted to buy a phone. No fuss, no issues. I feel like because I wasn’t overly chatty or “friendly”, the staff member just pushed this Telstra T‑Essential 2 on me. It’s $79, but it’s basically junk. Can’t run modern apps like TikTok, feels cheap, and I’ve had issues activating the SIM too. If you want something that actually works, don’t come here. They don’t care what you need — they just want to make a sale.
