It’s been going on for a bit I’ve not bothered leaving a review, but the Woolies brand rolls, especially those sold at the Seaford Meadows store, have this awful chemical aftertaste. We usually avoid buying rolls from that store, but since it’s our local store, we sometimes end up getting them and always regret it! I’ve noticed this aftertaste at some other stores, but usually, the other stores are fine.
Last night at checkout an item scanned at a much higher price than the yellow ticket, which clearly displayed 40% off. When I raised the pricing policy (supermarket scanning code of practice) I was told the sale had ended the previous Tuesday and the tickets had been left up by mistake. We were advised that we could not receive the item at the advertised sale price or for free. Which we believed is incorrect. The lady on self service check out incredibly rude and obviously needs retraining in her customer service skills. The lady name Angela se is every time rude behaviour.
