Sumo mandarins
Great location and size but like many Woolworths stores these days there are never any people on the checkout counters to assist with large grocery shops. Why have such a large supermarket but no checkout attendants? Twice recently I have had to take a huge shopping trolley to the self service lane and check out all the products myself. Sure, the convenience of doing it for a small amount of groceries is beneficial but there needs to be an option for full trollies too!
Spent more than $30 at Woolworths today. My six-year-old daughter excitedly spotted an Ooshie and said, “I don’t have that one!” I didn’t realise these particular Ooshies were trade-only, so I took one. A staff member told me they were for trading, and I said no worries — we had some in the car. She insisted I return it immediately, so I literally took the Ooshie back off my disappointed six-year-old and returned it. Not a huge deal. I misunderstood the promotion. Most unpleasant experience for me and other customers. I witnessed an older staff member with grey hair on Wednesday being terribly rude and condescending to another staff member. Very aggressive when asking for help, it was unpleasant, rude behaviour. I cannot believe Woolworths would foster that kind of environment in their stores.
