Too stinky. Smells like rotten meat. We bought a pack of chicken and tried to cook it right away but it was rotten and smelled so bad, we had to throw it away. Ended up driving to Coles near by. Such a waste of time and money. Every product is over priced there. Would never go back. Shame on Redfern! I would recommend going to Food works next door!!!

Having three security staff watching the self checkouts is honestly a bloody insult. The management here are clowns.

Redfern Woolworths is small and overcrowded. The aisles were packed with workers and customers, making it hard to get through without bumping into someone or squeezing past. There was barely any space to move, and it felt messy and unorganised. On top of that, there was a really bad smell throughout the store that made the whole experience even worse. Had to hold my breath the entire time inside. It didn’t feel clean or comfortable, and overall it just wasn’t a good place to shop.

At the self checkout, scanning my grocery items and a weight error comes up as usual 9/10 times i self checkout. Though today, rather than clearing the weight error I was accused of stealing 3 different items that were all clearly on the checkout and had been scanned. The operator then admitted defeat and let out a meek sorry and scurried away. Garbage human interaction, let alone even try and call that customer service. The security guard even looked away in shame as he knew they were completely at fault. Keep your receipts... read more
