I came here to mention the insane ableism in the new store design but then saw that somebody else had done it. Makes sense because disabled people are everywhere and majority of people were not born disabled and anybody can become disabled any day so you would think that there would be less ableists but no. The store has decided to deal with their ableism by being more ableist and tying a trolley across so it's even less accessible for disabled people than they had already made it. Woolworths Monbulk is a really reliable and convenient local supermarket. The recent addition of more self-checkouts has made shopping much faster and easier, especially during busy times. It’s great to be able to get in, find what you need, and check out without delay. The store also keeps a solid range of health foods and specialty items, which I really appreciate.
