Female staff member literally tried to deliberately SWEEP me out of the aisle this morning with a large broom. TWICE (out of two different aisles). I wasn’t even in the aisles for long, probably less than 1 minute each time.

I went to Woolies at around 6:40pm to grab a coffee, as I regularly do while driving for Uber. This time, the staff member on duty, Sharmin Aktar, refused to serve me, saying they were “closing the machine.” I’ve bought coffee here many times at this exact time with no issues, so this was surprising and really disappointing. This Woolworths used to offer a great range of vegetarian and vegan options, especially in the dumplings, ready-to-go meals, and frozen sections. Unfortunately, most of these have been removed and replaced with meat-based or “organic” alternatives that are often double the price. It’s frustrating, especially since this is the most accessible location compared to QV, which is always chaotic. Please stop prioritising cost-cutting over stocking essential items that many of us rely on daily.
