Yesterday, I visited Woolworths at Livingston Shopping Centre canning vale with my 2-year-old. My child saw the display balloons and became upset, so I politely asked staff member Aron if we could have one. He said they were only for display, but I felt his response was rude and lacked empathy. I understand there may be store policies, but if the balloons are not for sale or to be given away, they should not be displayed where they attract young children and cause disappointment.
