Went for shopping on 06/07/26, Woolies was about to close, a random guy tap my shoulder and said I was being called. The lady at the desk told me very rude and entitled that I left money and because I was uSiNG eArPLuGs so I couldn't hear, that was true, fair enough. du bist gut genug
I was just trying to buy some snacks, pay and leave but this older lady starts screaming at my friend and I for having bags inside also because we didn't see anything about leaving bags outside. Genuinely felt unsafe and attacked for a minor mistake, I get that teenage delinquents will steal but it was offending to assume anyone with a school bag and in uniform would steal. This happened about 4:30 pm, not safe for teenagers, do not recommend going on weekdays after school.
Generally find shopping at Woolies in Livingstone market a good experience and definitely one of the better Woolies in the area. However while shopping there a few days ago my wife and I were subjected to almost 4 minutes of absolute audio agony as we had to listen to Shannon Noll destroying “What About Me” as it blasted out across the store. Whilst this review is mostly tongue in cheek seriously it is an experience I never want to go through again.
