Awful store has been poorly renovated to support online shopping but makes the store look a mess shelves full of crap and online crates all over the place
Store has an unfriendly vibe to it. Staff watch customers like prison officers pacing up and down. The machines are set up to detect anything not scanned. Some onion skins were in the trolley and they treated it like a theft incident! If you want to feel like a criminal go to this store. When theres actually someone walking out with a trolley they do nothing, so its all just to make legitimate customers feel uncomfortable.
Customer service is mostly very poor in this store and there’s an immediate unfriendly, awkward, cold vibe upon entry. The self checkout staff are atrocious and unprofessional and watch people like hawks. I understand and admire their determination to stop theft but its awkward and uncomfortable the way they go about it and clearly not trained properly. They just stand and blatantly stare at people.
