What's the go with the fruit for kids? My 18 month old took an apple and she was still eating it at the self-service checkout. I was harassed by the attendant, telling me she couldn't leave with the fruit and that we're ruining it for everyone else by taking advantage of the free fruit. She's a slow eater with a heart condition, she had a couple of mouth fulls, it was also a quick shop.
