I've been shopping at Woolworths Golden Grove for over 20 years. The shop has always been clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. Today you made my daughters day by randomly selecting her for a bakery/fresh food surprise (I assume for Australia Day). She was in shock and is unsure if she showed how much she appreciated it. She popped to my house to have a coffee & try one of the "Orange & Poppyseed Muffins" with me. It wasn't something I would normally try, but it was delicious and I will definately try again. Not open Australia Day
I'm always in and out super fast. The self-checkouts rarely have issues, and when they do the team members are happy to assist to the best of their abilities. They did take away the express checkout lane (10 items and under) a while ago to be replaced by more self-checkouts which I do feel is massively inconvenient to the elderly who don't know how to work the self-checkouts themselves... Other than that, great.
Loved the service from this young person called Payoja, she was very kind and she was very respectful.
I shop here every week. The checkout staff is definitely lacking common courtesy. I see Amanda's name a lot of other reviews and I agree with them. She always looks unhappy. I was served by Poojah (i think that was her name). Didn't even greet me. She doubled scanned an item which i had to point out, then mumbled a goodbye. Just really disappointing.
