Well, I'm sorry to say the store at deception bay looks old and rundown and has been in this condition for a few years. As for the fresh food they sell, 3 out of 10. Value for price 2 out of 10. This is what happeneds when two two major supermarket outlets have a monopoly.
We purchased a 4x chicken breast pack Friday 21st. It was not due to expire until the 28th. We opened it to day to cook it and the stench was overwhelming. If we ate that we’d end up in hospital. I am seriously concerned about the meat handling processes here. It’s clear that this chicken has not been kept cold but they sold it anyway. Absolutely disgusting!
Terrible service, most of the staff are either really rude or dont help when u are looking for something they dont even show u where. Also the shelfs are never stocked how they should be and are feral. Also excused me of shoplifting because of my skintone and i feel really offended and i feel upset for the others who get treated this way.
Do the staff actually ever face, pull stock forward?? forever trying to get a bottle of water from the bak top shelf on my tippy toes
Saturday 25/07/2026. 9:30AM Shelves isn't filled, no fresh bread. Store open at 7AM Excuse me - are there manager in store? What is he's/her duties? Save money on night shelves fillers? Staff is moving like flys under pesticides. BUT New border on the self check-out's exit. Which is closig with no reaction on unhappy customers walking out. Is it Woolworths or small private store of the lazy willage? Second, I reckon... Degradation of the service is visible.
