Darwin City Woolworths is bigger and much better stocked than the Coles in Mitchell Street 500 metres away. If you're out for a stash, I recommend going to Wollies, especially if you're vegan, as you will find many interesting products unavailable at Coles.
It happen to me quite often, item that says half price until it wasn't when I scan them on check out even though I double check the price tag. On one occasion, When I ask the staff, they just said it is not on sales and the price tag is incorrect. I feel unvalued as a customer since they wasted my time back and forth brought the item and took a picture of the price tag, it shouldn't be our problem to begin with if they put the item incorrectly.
