I find it incredibly hypocritical that this supermarket proudly thanks customers for going “paperless” at the checkout, while at the same time offering a downright pathetic vegan range in both the fridge and freezer sections. If you genuinely cared about sustainability and the environment, expanding plant-based options would be one of the most meaningful actions you could take. I just wanted to say how wonderful the older lady on self checkouts always is! she was working this morning, I don’t know her name but every time I see her all I notice is how warm and kind she is to everybody, even if it’s just bidding them a goodbye after they’re done scanning. I hope she’s acknowledged for her great customer service ☺️
